FAQs
NEMO is an on-demand bicycle repair service. Think of NEMO as your friend you call when you have trouble on the side of the road. You can also call us to come to your house, office, or anywhere within our service area.
The membership covers the labor for basic maintenance of your bike, but if there are parts that need to be replaced or repaired we charge for the cost of the new part.
We work on most major brands, if you have any questions send us a message with a picture of your bike and we can let you know if we do work with your bike! We do not work on rental bikes.
You can see our full repair menu at https://www.get-nemo.com/menu
We always prefer for your employer to pay for NEMO. Today we work with Harvard, Boston University, and Boston Children's Hospital to provide free NEMO memberships to their employees. If you interested in bringing NEMO to your workplace, email us at Employers@get-nemo.com. Alternatively, if you organization uses a commuter benefits plan that pays for bicycle parts or services, ask your provider or HR rep to see if NEMO is covered. Chances are that if you have one you can use those benefits towards a NEMO membership and parts.
We charge extra for replacement parts such as tires, tubes and other pieces of equipment that are broken. We also charge extra for certain repairs that are more time intensive and or require a prescheduled appointment. Those repairs can be found on the Repair Menu at https://www.get-nemo.com/menu
