CommuterChoice Bike Benefit

Harvard faculty, staff, and student workers can use their CommuterChoice Bike Commuter Benefit for NEMO repairs — either by paying up front using the Jawnt Pass commuter debit card, or by submitting a reimbursement.

How to use it

Your Jawnt Pass commuter debit card is loaded with a $30 credit for biking expenses each month, which accrues over time and can be used to make biking purchases directly.

    Enroll in the bike benefit

    Follow a few quick steps to enroll in the Jawnt Pass commuter card. Learn how to enroll and activate your card.

    Book a repair with NEMO

    Use the booking form above or text 857-847-6366. Service is 7AM–7PM, Monday–Friday.

    Pay for your repair with your Jawnt Pass

    Use your Jawnt Pass just as you would a debit or credit card, or keep your receipt and submit a reimbursement request through Jawnt (learn how here).

Who's eligible

Eligible

All Harvard faculty, staff, and student workers qualify for the CommuterChoice Bike Commuter Benefit. HGSU members who are student workers are eligible — for HGSU-specific questions, email hgsu.benefits@gmail.com.

What's covered

Scheduled, on-site mobile bike repair 7AM–7PM, Monday–Friday within NEMO's service area. Mechanic labor for 1 bicycle and expert bike advice are included.

Replacement parts and specialty repairs are charged separately as needed — and can be paid for directly with your Jawnt Pass or submitted for reimbursement.

What's included in a visit

Every NEMO visit covers mechanic labor for one bicycle (or more, if you choose the multi-bike option) and expert bike advice. Most repairs take about 45 minutes. Here's what we fix on the spot:

  • Brake adjustment
  • Shifting tune-up
  • Chain & cable replacement
  • Safety check (15 min tune-up)
  • E-bike & cargo bike service
