Frequently Asked Questions
How much does e-bike repair cost?
E-bike and cargo bike repairs are $105 flat rate per visit. That covers the mechanic's time, travel, and all standard diagnostics. Parts — tires, tubes, chains, brake pads, cables — are billed separately at the time of repair.
Do you work on cargo bikes?
Absolutely — cargo bikes are our specialty. We dispatch on eCargo bikes ourselves (Tern GSDs and Aventon Abounds), so we know them inside and out. Across all e-bikes, we've serviced 76 brands and counting — Aventon, Tern, Trek, Specialized, Lectric, Rad Power, Giant, Urban Arrow, Cannondale, Velotric, Gazelle, Bunch Bikes, Schwinn, Xtracycle, Yuba, Ride1Up, Blix, Riese & Müller, VanMoof, Heybike, Babboe, Electra, and more — with no dealer certification required.
What if my e-bike needs parts?
Parts are billed separately at the time of repair. Our mechanics carry the most common items (tubes, tires, brake pads, cables, chains). If your bike needs something we don't stock, we'll tell you what to order so we can finish on a follow-up visit.
Why mobile repair is perfect for e-bikes
They're heavy
Most e-bikes weigh 50–70 lbs. Getting one into a car trunk or onto a bike rack is a serious project. We come to you instead.
They're expensive
A $2,000–5,000 bike deserves a mechanic who comes to it, not the other way around. We treat your investment accordingly.
They're your commuter
You need it working today, not "drop it off and we'll call you Thursday." Same-day service is standard.
We ride them too
NEMO mechanics dispatch on eCargo bikes — Tern GSDs and Aventon Abounds. We know these machines from the inside, not just the repair manual.
All major brands
Not limited to any dealer network. If it has a motor and pedals, we can almost certainly work on it.
$105 flat rate
One flat visit fee covers the mechanic's time, travel, and diagnostics. Parts and add-on services billed separately.
